Volunteers have all sorts of roles within our charity. Some help with administrations, others help with fundraising and the Community Coffee Morning Café.

“I volunteer with Searchlight Scotland firstly because I want to make a positive difference in the world, and the best way to do that is to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
For me that difference looks like helping a client through an anxious moment, having fun cooking together, teaching a session on life skills, or something as simple as being there to do crafts with.
Everyone deserves another chance to put their lives on a better road, and volunteering with The Programme’s clients helps me to feel I’ve contributed a small part to seeing women rehabilitated. It is extremely rewarding.
In terms of human trafficking, I got involved so I can be part of stopping this terrible, illegal business - one beautiful rescued life at a time.”
